Jaime Robertson
DIRECTOR
Jaime Robertson is passionate about building community and inspiring a love for learning in every child. With 15 years of experience in Special Education and School Administration, she is a certified teacher who has worked in public education and currently homeschools her children. For the past decade, Jaime has been an Assistant Professor at Liberty University’s School of Education, supervising and coaching student teachers in central Virginia. As the Family Director at her church, she enjoys seeing kids thrive in their faith. Jaime and her family love outdoor adventures, from exploring National Parks to playing in their backyard.

Gwyn Tatum
CURRICULUM DIRECTOR
Gwyneth Tatum is dedicated to enhancing children's education through innovative, hands-on programming and student-centered learning. She has coached teachers nationwide for the Federal Department of Education, directed educational programs at Amazement Square, and written curriculum for various educational settings. Gwyneth has also taught in public schools and non-profits, and homeschooled her two children for four years. Her family loves worshiping with their church, playing in creeks, enjoying their fire pit, and exploring Thai restaurants.

Sarah Hamel
LOWER SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Sarah Hamel, an elementary teacher for 12 years, loves helping young students build confidence in foundational skills. She believes in meeting each child's individual needs and partnering with families. Certified in elementary education and ESOL, Sarah has taught in public schools for 10 years and part-time at Compass Academy for 2 years. She also supports teachers and supervises student teachers at Liberty University. At home, she enjoys time with children. Her family loves walks and trying new recipes!
