Athletics & Extracurricular
The goal of the athletics & extracurricular program is to provide opportunities for students to explore hobbies and build self confidence where they will thrive outside the classroom. We want to build our community while developing sportsmanship and friendship on and off the mountain.
The skills learned during intentional physical education can help form lifelong habits that lead to the development of a well rounded child. Here are a few of the opportunities available to Compass Academy students:

We have partnered with the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Center to provide a unique opportunity of fun and learning on the mountain.

Bikes Unlimited has joined forces with us to provide mountain biking lessons in beautiful Bedford County.

The Blue Ridge foothills are known for some of the best Disc Golf courses in in the Eastern United states. We have partnered with two local coaches to provide a fun environment.

Sports Outreach is able to offer all of our families a high quality program that focuses on skills development.

Partnering with Liberty University’s Natatorium, we offer swim lessons and stroke and diving clinics.

Our students have the opportunity to learn and work with the coaches at Ivy Hill Golf Club. This is a great experience for both beginners and seasoned golfers.

In partnership with professors from a local University’s theatre department, our students explore the many art forms that encompass theatre.

By partnering with Sports Outreach, our students have the opportunity to work with local and worldwide Chess masters.
