At Compass Academy, our approach fosters independence, critical thinking, and a love for nature, promoting lifelong learning and well-being. We empower students to take charge of their educational journeys by combining the structure of traditional education with the flexibility of homeschooling.

What is a hybrid education?

Our five day, hybrid educational model combines traditional classroom learning with elements of homeschooling. This approach offers the structure and social interaction of a classroom while providing the flexibility and personalized learning experiences of homeschooling. It aims to create a balanced, enriching educational environment that caters to the diverse needs and learning styles of students. At Compass Academy, students attend on-campus classes two or three days a week, based on their age, and are homeschooled for the remaining days.

Our Mission

We aim to inspire and empower the next generation through our faith-based, hybrid educational model. We believe in the power of personalized learning and outdoor exploration to cultivate a lifelong love of learning and critical thinking. By offering a unique educational experience that balances tradition with innovation, we aim to support each student's journey towards personal and academic excellence.

Statement of Faith

We believe:

  • In one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • That the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

  • That man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

  • That finally, the impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

  • That the Atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race and that whoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified, regenerated, and saved from the dominion of sin.

  • That believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

  • That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
